While it's not right for everyone it can help with a huge number of problems or issues.

The subconscious is happy to accept new and positive suggestions and responses to issues that have been problematic for you because it   always wants whats best for you.   The way you respond to things now is as a result of an old pattern of behaviourpositive or negative.     If we do not re-programme the subconscious with different solutions as we grow, it continues to use the outdated one it has always used.


5 Hypnosis Myths Exploded

OVER the years, hypnosis has picked up all sorts of weird associations from stage hypnotists, the media and superstition. This is a great shame, because in reality, hypnosis is your single most effective tool for change. Hypnosis is your birthright, and you should know how to use it so it doesn't use you. Here we dispel the biggest hypnosis myths.



Myth 1- The person being hypnotized will be under the control of the hypnotist, and can be made to do or say anything the hypnotist wants.  

Fact 1   -   This is not true. No matter how deeply hypnotized you become, you will remain in control throughout the session. You cannot be made to do anything you do not want to do, or anything that you are uncomfortable doing.

 

Myth 2 - Hypnosis is something that is done to people, rather than something that they can do for themselves.  

Fact 2 - This is not true.   Hypnosis is a skill you can learn. It is a tool you can use to help yourself feel better.

 

Myth 3   - People become trapped in hypnosis and cannot "come out" of it when they want to.

Fact 3 - This is not true. People can end hypnosis whenever they want.

 

Myth 4 - People have to be "hypnotizable" or "gullible" for hypnosis to work.  

  Fact 4 - This is not true. Most people can benefit from hypnosis. Choosing to be responsive to suggestions means only that you have the ability to use hypnosis effectively.

 

Myth 5 - During hypnosis, people are unconscious.  

  Fact 5 - This is not true. During hypnosis, people are not asleep or unconscious. Although they may feel very relaxed, they are active participants in the hypnosis session.

 


Can I be Hypnotised?

The short answer generally is YES! Most people   have more natural hypnotic ability, most people can be hypnotized. Furthermore, like musical ability, hypnotic ability tends to increase with practice. There are some people that cannot be hypnotized and these include people with extremely low IQ or brain damage as they are phyiscally incapable of paying attention.

 

 

How will I know   I'm Hypnotised?

  Most people describe hypnosis as a pleasant experience, during which they feel focused and absorbed in the hypnotic experience. You will feel alert yet more relaxed, more comfortable, or more peaceful.     Quite like the waking state between sleep and wakefulness.   Awake but just relaxing back and enjoying the peace and relaxation.
